It made me cry, just seeing people so young having to go through such horrible illness…
In other news, still a bit hypomanic, but definitely calming down a little. Josh said he knew I was definitely hypomanic because I started talking about studying maths again (when I get hypo- or full-on manic I start entertaining ideas that I am a math whiz and I start devouring Algebra equations and talking about how I cant let my genius go to waste), he also said last night that I was wearying to be around, especially after a long day, particularly because I was singing loudly, talking a mile a minute, changing topics halfway into explaining something, all that fun stuff. So I tried to rein it in a little, trying not to be so full-on all the time. Another worrying thing is that I saw a shadow person the other night, which is concerning because it might mean that my mood episode is trying to cause psychosis. Here’s hoping it doesnt!

My son has a mood disorder, he’s 10 years old. He has talked about seeing shadow people too. Does this happen a lot to you? Do you see other things too? I wish the doctors would believe us when we share this with them, I do however believe my son and will continue to fight on his behalf.

Before medication i saw them on a regular basis, now im on medication it is rare that i will see them. I also see spiders, and have had a couple of random hallucinations too. It sucks that your son’s doctors are not listening to him, is there any chance he could change to a doctor who is more open to your son’s needs?
